The Microsoft SharePoint Super User (Site Owner) course is ideal for people who have responsibility for managing SharePoint sites but do not require the deeper technical knowledge associated with SharePoint administration. This may include site owners, departmental SharePoint leads, project coordinators, team administrators and other experienced users who support colleagues using SharePoint.

Participants will develop the skills needed to organise site content, manage access and permissions, maintain pages and information, and make effective use of SharePoint's collaboration features.

Managing SharePoint sites effectively

A well-managed SharePoint site can provide teams with a central location for documents, information and collaborative working. During the course, participants will consider how site structure, navigation, permissions and content organisation can make SharePoint easier for colleagues to use.

The practical skills developed during the course can be applied to existing SharePoint sites or used when creating and managing new sites for departments, teams and projects.
