Organise and track team tasks

The Microsoft Planner Basic course introduces a simple, visual approach to organising tasks and coordinating work within Microsoft 365.

Participants will learn how plans can be created to represent projects, team activities or other pieces of work and how tasks can be assigned to individuals, given deadlines and organised into meaningful groups.

Improve visibility of team workloads

Planner can provide team members with a shared view of what needs to be done, who is responsible and how work is progressing. This can make it easier to coordinate activities without relying on separate spreadsheets, email chains or personal task lists.

The course is suitable for managers, team leaders, project coordinators and Microsoft 365 users who want a straightforward collaborative tool for managing tasks.

Users who subsequently require more sophisticated scheduling and project-management functionality may wish to progress to Microsoft Planner Premium.
