COURSE OVERVIEW

CompTIA PenTest+ develops the practical skills required to plan, scope and carry out penetration testing and vulnerability assessment engagements. This course is aligned to the current CompTIA PenTest+ PT0-003 exam and covers reconnaissance, vulnerability discovery and validation, exploitation, post-exploitation, reporting, remediation and the legal and ethical requirements surrounding penetration testing.

This course is suitable for penetration testers, security consultants, cloud penetration testers, web application penetration testers, cloud security specialists and network or security professionals who want to develop offensive-security skills.

COURSE PREREQUISITES

Intermediate knowledge of information security, networking, identity and access management, cryptography and common security technologies is recommended. CompTIA Network+, Security+ or equivalent practical knowledge provides a useful foundation.

This course is recommended preparation for the current CompTIA PenTest+ PT0-003 certification exam.
