TOGAF focuses on the broader enterprise architecture approach and method, while ArchiMate provides a visual modelling language for representing architectures. The two pathways can be taken separately or used together.

Introduces the core concepts, terminology and structure of the TOGAF® Standard, including the Architecture Development Method, governance, architecture content and the Enterprise Continuum.
TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner
Practitioner • Enterprise Architecture
Develops the ability to apply and adapt TOGAF® concepts in practical enterprise architecture work, including the ADM, architecture governance and the use of TOGAF guidance in different organisational contexts.
ArchiMate® Foundation
Foundation • Architecture Modelling
Introduces the structure, concepts and techniques of the ArchiMate® modelling language, including business, application and technology layers, relationships, views and viewpoints.
ArchiMate® Practitioner
Practitioner • Architecture Modelling
Builds on Foundation knowledge and develops the ability to apply the ArchiMate® language to create, interpret and communicate more detailed enterprise architecture models.
