ITIL® AI Governance (Version 5) provides practical guidance for governing artificial intelligence responsibly, effectively and at scale. The course helps organisations and professionals capture the opportunities created by AI while maintaining appropriate accountability, oversight, ethics, compliance and risk controls.

Delegates will explore how ITIL can support responsible AI governance across products, services and organisational workflows, and how governance approaches can be adapted as AI use grows.

• Describe AI risks, ethical principles and countermeasures, and how these shape governance requirements and controls.
• Use the ITIL® AI Governance Model and ITIL® AI Governance Improvement Model to assess, design, implement, maintain and assure AI governance.
• Apply AI governance across practical scenarios, complementary frameworks, regulation, suppliers, external standards and third-party AI environments.

Course Prerequisites

There are no required prerequisites for this course, although some previous experience of ITIL® would be beneficial.

Test Certification

Recommended preparation for exam(s):

• ITIL® (Version 5) AI Governance

The exam is 90 minutes long and contains 40 multiple-choice questions.

Exam vouchers are provided with this course and are valid for 12 months. You will need to schedule your exam within this period.
