Helping people navigate organisational change

The Leading and Driving Change course helps managers understand both the practical and human aspects of implementing change.

Even when there is a strong business reason for change, employees may experience uncertainty, concern or resistance. Participants will consider why people react differently and how the way change is communicated and managed can influence acceptance and engagement.

Turning change plans into action

Participants will explore practical approaches for communicating the reasons for change, involving stakeholders and maintaining momentum throughout the process.

The course also considers how leaders can respond to resistance constructively and support people as they adapt to new processes, structures or ways of working.

It is particularly useful for managers, project leaders and other professionals responsible for introducing or supporting changes that affect colleagues and teams.

Change, by its inherent nature, can be disconcerting. While individuals grapple with change, their productivity may wane, and they might even experience feelings of disenfranchisement or opposition.
