Course Overview

This course develops the practical skills required to create, monitor and troubleshoot cloud-native AI solutions on Microsoft Azure. Participants learn how to connect Azure AI services to scalable applications using containers, serverless compute, event-driven architectures and vector-enabled data stores.

This course is designed for developers who build backend and AI-driven applications on Azure and need practical skills in containerised compute, AI data services, event-driven workflows, application security and monitoring.

• Container application hosting with Azure Container Registry and App Service.
• Azure Container Apps deployment, management and scaling.
• Azure Kubernetes Service deployment and monitoring.
• Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL and vector search.
• Azure Database for PostgreSQL with pgvector.
• Azure Managed Redis for caching, messaging and vector storage.
• Event-driven AI workflows with Service Bus, Event Grid and Azure Functions.
• Azure Key Vault and App Configuration.
• OpenTelemetry, logs, metrics and troubleshooting.

Course Prerequisites

Participants should have hands-on Azure experience and practical knowledge of cloud applications, containers, serverless compute and event-driven architectures. Familiarity with core AI concepts and Azure AI service integration is also recommended.
