Creating an environment where people can perform
The Employee Engagement & Motivation course helps managers and team leaders understand the factors that influence how people feel about their work and the contribution they make to an organisation.
While salary and financial rewards can influence motivation, engagement is also affected by factors such as recognition, communication, autonomy, development opportunities, relationships and a sense of purpose. Participants will consider how different people can be motivated by different things and why a single approach is unlikely to work for every member of a team.
Practical techniques for managers
Participants will explore practical ways to recognise individual needs, provide meaningful feedback, communicate expectations and create conditions that encourage people to take greater ownership of their work.
The course is particularly useful for managers and team leaders who want to improve morale, strengthen working relationships and create a team environment in which employees feel valued, involved and motivated to perform at their best.
