Overview

The Microsoft Power Automate Introduction course focuses on using automation to reduce repetitive manual work and create more consistent business processes. Participants will learn how triggers and actions are combined to create flows and how information can be passed between Microsoft 365 applications and other services.

Typical uses of Power Automate include sending notifications, requesting approvals, processing information submitted through forms, working with files and automatically carrying out routine tasks when particular events occur.

The course is designed for business users rather than developers and does not require programming experience. Through practical exercises, participants will create and modify flows and develop an understanding of how Power Automate can be applied to processes within their own organisation.

The course also provides a useful foundation for participants who subsequently want to explore more advanced automation involving conditions, expressions, multiple applications and more complex business processes.

This 1-day course explores the basic building blocks and allows you to create you own flows and understand how to develop your skills to the next level.
