Overview
Power Apps is a suite of apps, services, connectors, and a data platform that provides you with an opportunity to build custom apps for your business needs.
This 1-day course explores the basic building blocks and allows you to create your own Apps and understand how to develop your skills to the next level.
What will you build with Power Apps?
During the Microsoft Power Apps Introduction course, participants will learn how to create canvas apps that can be used to address practical business requirements without traditional software development.
Participants will work with screens, controls, properties and data sources while learning how the different components of a Power Apps solution fit together. They will also be introduced to Power Fx, the formula language used within Power Apps, allowing application behaviour and functionality to be customised.
The course is particularly suitable for business users, analysts, Microsoft 365 users and others who want to replace or improve manual processes, spreadsheets or simple paper-based systems with purpose-built business applications.
By the end of the course, participants should have a clearer understanding of how to plan and build a Power App and the confidence to continue developing their skills with more sophisticated applications and data sources.
Prerequisite Skills and Knowledge
As this is an Introduction course, no previous experience with Power Apps is required.
