For people progressing into management, the Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager (CDFOM) develops broader skills in service levels, staffing, safety, vendor management, resilience, governance, budgeting and operational leadership.
What qualifications are useful for data centre networking?
If your role centres on data centre networking rather than facilities, Cisco's Data Center certification track is particularly relevant.
The CCNP Data Center validates professional-level knowledge of core data centre technologies including network, compute, storage, automation and security. Cisco currently requires candidates to pass the 350-601 DCCOR core exam plus one concentration exam.
